For Liste Art Fair Basel 2023, GIANNI MANHATTAN is pleased to present "Fragiles", an immersive sound installation by Austrian artist Barbara Kapusta.
Barbara Kapusta (born 1983; lives and works in Vienna) is a writer and artist who in her works interconnects the relationship between body and language. Her spatial installations deal with the topics of language and community, marginalization and resistance and their economic, social and political framework. Her video works, sound installations, artists’ publications, performances, and objects reflect upon environmental issues, cyber culture, queerness, as well as the ideas of a post-gender world and post-humanism.
