GIANNI MANHATTAN is excited to host Béton Brut 2 by Maria Ader with music by J. Bailey.
Maria Ader will present a one-off evening of architectural edible forms that emphasises texture & materiality. Deconstructing organic materials into minimalist forms, “Béton brut” serves to expose structural fabric and offer up its assembly for an audience to explore and consume.
The work is accompanied by an original soundtrack by J. Bailey — comprising ambient electronic recordings from his studio in Tallinn, first gestated in 2025 and now released on “Good Morning Tapes” to coincide with this event. A limited number of cassettes are available to purchase on the night, featuring j-card designs derived from Maria’s work, visually remixed by label head Adam “Biscuit” Biesiot.
This event is generously supported by Cultural Endowment of Estonia.
